About the role
An experienced Planning Engineer is needed to join the Covestro project in Antwerp, Belgium. The contract runs from an ASAP start until 31 December 2026, with a potential extension to April 2027. Engagement is freelance or via a limited company equivalent.
This is not a purely office-based planning position — proven field/site construction experience is required.
What you'll do
- Detailed scheduling
- Progress measurement and forecasting
- Managing subcontractor interfaces
- Running schedule review meetings
- Weekly and monthly reporting
What we're looking for
- 5 to 7+ years' Planning Engineering experience
- Strong site/field construction experience
- Petrochemical, refinery, oil & gas or similar major industrial project experience
- Expert Primavera P6 skills
- Progress measurement, productivity reporting and forecasting experience
- Contractor/subcontractor schedule coordination experience
- Strong reporting and stakeholder communication skills
- Fluent English
- Dutch is an advantage
